Pedal Steel Guitar Strings
Notice: Because of rising shipping costs for single-set orders (about $5.00 per shipment), a minimum of three sets of strings is required unless another product is ordered along with a single set of strings.
 My String-Selling History: During the first 50 years of my products business, I was supplied by a single manufacturer that I stayed with. They maintained their quality throughout those years. Unfortunately, the Covid pandemic took them out of business. I then began supplying plain-wrapped Dunlop (brand) strings to my customers, many of whom had been buying strings from me for decades. I ultimately asked them to give me their opinion of the “unidentified brand” of strings I’d been supplying them. I was impressed when all who responded, saying that they would not have known the difference had I not alerted them of the brand change. They were pleased with the Dunlop string’s resonance, tone, volume and sustain.
Sets and/or individually gauged strings: Either can be purchased (see listing and prices below). For all new customers, one way to determine if the strings I supply are best for you is to buy a set and decide for yourself. Or, ask me to send you a free plain gauged string (between a .009 and a .024 gauge), then decide if it is what my regular customers say is true! If you feel the strings don’t measure up to what you’ve been using, tell me that too!
10-String E9th Sets
Price per set: $14.00 (three-set minimum)

When purchased in sets, the gauges will be: .013, .017, 011, .013, .017, .022P, .026W, .030, .036, and .038. If you prefer gauges other than those listed for the E9th sets, simply list the gauges you want and I’ll package the sets as you prefer.
Note: I do add one FREE plain string per set (typically a .011 gauge), but if you mention another gauge of a plain string, I’ll include it instead.
12-String Sets for “Extended E9th” Copedents

10-String C6th Sets
Price per set: $16.00 (three-set minimum)

Special Note: C6th players either tune their first string to a G or a D. So please tell me which gauge of string you need for the first string (probably either a .012 or a .017), but whatever you say is OK!
When purchased in sets, the gauges will likely be .012 or .017 (as mentioned above) for the first string, followed by a .015, .018, .022P, .026W, .032W, .038W, .042, .052, and .070. However, if you prefer gauges other than those listed for your C6thth sets, simply identify the gauges you want and I’ll package them as you wish.
Note: I also add one FREE plain-gauged string per set (typically a .012. If you prefer another gauge of a plain string, tell me and I’ll include it instead.
